Braised Prawns
1 min read“Braised prawns”is a magnificant Shandong-style dish that is fresh red in color with a tender taste.
The prawns used are large ones with thick shuck,which is hard to cook through.Thus we prefer braising.It creates a palatable dish with enjoyable taste,fresh prawn flavor and rich nutrition.
Recipe
Ingredients:
10fresh shrimps
Seasoning:
80g vegetable oil,10g salt,20g sugar,20g cooking wine,10g shredded ginger,20g shredded scallions,150ml soup or water,30g cornstarch-water mixture.
Directions:
Clean the prawns,cut the palpus(cut the prawn along the tharm for better absorption of the seasoning).
Heat the oil,add shredded shallot,shredded ginger,stir-fry a few times,then put the prawns in the wok.Add wine sauce,salt,monosodium glutamate,sugar,thin soup or water.Cover the wok after boiling,reduce the heat,and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Set the prawn neatly in the plate and keep the soup in the wok.
Turn up the heat,put cornstarch-water mixture in the soup,pour over the prawn,and serve.
