Chinese legend gives the title Goddess of Silk to Leizu,wife of the mythical Yellow Emperor in about 3000 BC.She is credited with the introduction of silkworm rearing and the invention of the loom.
During the Western Han Dynasty,the Emperor dispatched Zhang Qian as the special envoy to the Western Regions,which Facilitated the formation and development of the Silk Road.
Silk’s absorbency makes it comfortable to wear in warm weather.And it keeps warm air close to the skin during cold weather.It is often used for clothing such as ties,high fashion clothes,lingerie,sun dresses and Eastern folk costumes.
