It is a surprising and unique lake in the desert, so it is suspected to be fracture lake formed by the leaked underground water.
There are several layers of different vegetations scattering around the lake: on the sand dunes around the lake, there are climbing cypresses, crataegus, white willows, meadow sweets,an and other plants; on the lakeside, there is the mixed forest of towering populus canescens, white poplar, and white birch; near the water, there are dense reeds, calamus, and other aquatic plants. During June and July, the wild lotus flowers are spotting in the center of the lake, and there are many water birds and wild ducks playing among.
