Lu Xun
1 min readLu Xun is a modern great writer，thinker，and revolutionary in China.His original name is Zhou Shuren.He was born in 1881 in Shaoxing City，Zhejiang Province.
He went to Japan to study in 1902.He firstly studied medicine.But in order to change the national spirit，he changed to the literary field.In May 1918，he published his first vernacular novel Diary of a Madman using his pen name，Lu Xun.The novel established the cornerstone of the New Culture Movement.Before and after the May 4th Movement，Lu Xun worked at New Youth Magazine.He was the main person in the New Culture Movement at that time.Lu Xun wrote a lot of novels and articles.Many of them are used in textbooks for primary，secondary and high schools，and colleges and universities.On October 19，1936，Lu Xun died of illness in Shanghai.
