Viewing Fish at Flower Harbor is one of the“”Ten Views of the West Lake.”As a famous scenic area in China，the park was a small private garden built by Lu Yunsheng，an imperial official of the Southern Song Dynasty.There was a stream nearby the fishpond inside the park，whose water was ushered into the pond to raise goldfish.Atpresent Flower Harbor is famed for its half-a-year-long flower scenery.The best time to view flowers is the late spring and early summer.The red fish pond is surrounded with blossoms and green trees while fishes hover and float soundlessly and streams bubble their way into the flower harbor，without minding the changing time.The lawn is deeply covered by green grasses，and the dense wood even hides the paths to the pond.
