Honey Roasted Pork

Roasted pork makes a tasty addition to stir-fries and noodle dishes. Fora quick and easy lunch, try roast pork sandwiches.

Ingredients

2 pound spareribs

2tablespoons honey

4 tablespoons hoisin sauce

4tablespoons dark soy sauce

2tablespoons Chinese rice wine or dry sherry

1. Separate the pork into pieces about 2 by 6 inches. Combine the honey, hoisin sauce, dark soy sauce, and rice wine. Add to the pork ribs and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

2. Preheat oven to 375F.

3. Drain the pork, reserving the marinade. Fill a shallow pan with boiling water and place at thebottom of the oven. Place the pork on a roasting rack, cover with half the reserved marinade androast the pork for 15 minutes. Brush the pork with the remaining marinade and roast for another 15 minutes, or until the pork turns golden brown and is cooked. Cool.
