Shihezi, the oasis in the desert Shihezi is a city only one year younger than the Republic of China.

At the beginning of the construction, through three generations of reclamation, people created a wonder of the world of pushing back the desert by labor power under extremely harsh natural conditions, reclaiming the largest oasis in western China. The desolate wasteland was finally scattered with green, first in line, and then in piece. The aspen, diversiform-leaved poplar, ulmus pumila, elaeagnus angustifolia, and other trees formed rows of well-arranged ecological barriers with different functions and the dry desert was finally turned into warm and moist oasis.
