Ancient City of loulan relics

Most walls around the ancient city of loulan have collapsed with on some discontinuous walls standing alone. Covering an area of 108, 200m, the square urban area was 333. 5m long from east to west, 329m long in the south and 327m long in the north The walls around the city were constructed in compliance with the wind. Seen from the layout in the city, a pagoda about 10m high was situated in the northeast and was the tallest building in loulancity. a government office was in the northwest. a residential area was in the southwest built with rose willows and reeds nowadays the roofs and walls have all gone, but seen from the residual wall feet, the layout characteristic at that time fitted customs of ancient Loulan people. the pagoda in the northeast was a place for people to offer religious sacrifices To the south of which, there was a market, embodying the layout of building a market next to a religious building in current folk customs of Xinjiang

Overlooking the ancient city of loulan visitors can see a beacon tower in the northeast corner of the city. By contrast, most rooms in the south of the house were low scattered and ruined as inferred from the unearthed writs, the frame-structure building adjacent to the three rooms was the government office ruin of the Ancient City of loulan

The cultural relics unearthed from Loulan shocked the world, including precious handwritten of Strategies of the Warring States of the Jin Dynasty, and Tang Dynasties finely weaved brocade and silk of the han dynasty ano 2 Wuzhu coins of the han Dynasty, coins of the Kushan Dynasty, coins of the Ji residual letters in Chinese, Sogdiana Script and Qu Luwen, all of which have an extremely high archaeological value
