1 min readThe Xinjiang Museum was built in 1953，located at Northwest Road，Urumqi City.It is the center of collection and research of relics.
The Xinjiang Museum mainly collects historical relics，revolutionary heritages，national heritages and cultural works.Over 30 thousand of various relics are collected in the museum.The main exhibition of the museum is divided into five parts:Xinjiang History Exhibition，Xinjiang Ethnic Folk Customs Exhibition，Xinjiang Mummies Exhibition，Xinjiang Thousand-Buddha Caves Exhibition and Xinjiang Revolutionary Records Exhibition.
These exhibitions not only display the historical overview and abundant connotation of Xinjiang，but also fully display the brilliant culture created by people of all nationalties in Xinjiang through the precious relics.
