Namkha and Alonggou in Rutog Village of Rutog County, Rimudong in Risong Township, Lubu Lake and Zuoyong Lake in Rebang Township, Kangba’ re Jiu in Zhabu Township, Nabulong and Takangba in Wujiang Township, Quga’ erqiang and Duoma in Duoma Township.
Tibetan rock art boasts diversified themes. More than 80% of the images are about animals, while others are of people, deities, artifacts and buildings. There are also a variety of symbols, such as “Gyung Drung(commonly known as Svastika),”the sun and the moon. For example, the No.1 rock art site at Renmudong(Rutog County) is a large image about Bon religious worship of the sun. In the center-upper part, an extremely exaggerated male genital organ is depicted parallel with the sun and the moon, which reflects Bon religion’s cosmology of “Men and women are bonded in nature, and the sun and the moon in the sky are Yin and Yang.”
