Nansha is now a venue for various art festivals and events. In the autumn of 1999, Zhoushan international sand sculpture festival made its debut here. Now September and October every year see sand sculptors arrive form all over china and beyond to present their latest inspirations.
The festival pulls tourists in to see what sculpted delights will be here this year. Art has turned Zhujiajian hosts East China Sea Music Festival. International bands come ting a wild carnival for music fans at home and abroad. rawing and many other events add a delightful touch to the wonderful nature of Zhujiajian. Today, Nansha is surely the calling card of Zhoushan.
