Growing with Favorable Policies

The Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone is the beneficiary of multiple favorable policies such as the Western Development Program, opening-up of coastal areas, national minority autonomy, and opening-up of border areas. In the Development Plan for Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone approved by the State, it is also clearly stipulated that the government shall provide policy support for the Zone in terms of comprehensive reform, major program design, bonded logistics system.

In order to promote development of the Zone, the Guangxi Autonomous Region People’s Government enacted and Regulations on Promoting Opening-up and Development of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, providing over 70 preferential policies in seven major areas ment, finance and taxation, land use, financial support, foreign trade, human science and technology development, and optimization of the investment environment. Guangxi will also introduce a reward system for enterprises with contributions in key industrial zones, policies regarding the cooperative development of industrial zones, and favorable policies for bonded ports in Qinzhou. The Beibu Gulf indeed enjoys an exceptional level of policy support from the government.
