The Bell Tower of Xi’an was built in 1384 during the early Ming Dynasty.It alsosymbolizes the city of Xi’an and considered to be one of the grandest in China.
There are large bronze-cast bells from the Tang Dynasty in the Bell Tower.The tower base covers an area of 1，377 square meters，and the tower is nearly 40 meters high.
One of the legend told that the tower was built to restrain the dragon in Ming Dynasty，who always caused earthquake in the city.

The Be11 Tower is located in the exact center of Xi’an.
