Wei-Jin Mural Brick Tomb
1 min readWei-Jin Mural Brick Tomb is on the northwestern side of Gobi desert,and it is only 20 kilometers away from the city of Jiayuguan.This site takes an area of more than 30 square kilometers,and was first discovered in 1972.It is said that there are about 1,600 tombs,but until now only 10 of them come to light.The interior of the tombs is decorated with beautiful fresco paintings which can be traced back to Wei and Jin Dynasties.The frescos are of great beauty and historical value,and a picture of them has been used as a logo by China’s National Post.
