Boat tours of are a fun way to get around West Lake. The boats can drop you off at numerous destinations along the lakeshore or at the little islands dotting it. There are numerous docks where you can board the boats; tickets are RMB 35 for a single trip.
Privately owned boats will usually charge about RMB 80 per hour for a tour, but you should be able to do some bargaining. The price of the boat tours doesn’t include admission to the different sights.
