Aheitubieke Port and Muzart Port

People who lived on the border could barter and trade goods during that time. However, it was closed later for more than 30 years for historical reasons. In August, 1992, China and Kazakhstan signed an agreement to again open this port and allow the transportation of people and cargo of both countries to pass. Muzart Port was opened to the outside world by Chinese Government’s approval in March, 1994.
