Every part of Sanya is adorned with coconut groves. These groves and the trees that cover 60% of the city and its downtown landscape-green plants over 40% of the central city-make for a close harmony between Sanya and the natural environment. In fact, Sanya is the most beautiful tropical garden of China and is included among the country’s first group of eco-demonstrative cities. Its tourism resources are unique in China, even in the world, making the city a choice destination for vacationers. Sanya’s mountains, rivers, sea and harbors are harmoniously united, and the city has ten key tourism resources c sunshine, seawater, sandy beaches, climate, forests, hot springs, ethnic culture, idyllic fields and grottoes. Sanya has two 5A-rated tourism districts, the Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone and Wonders of the Mountain and Sea, or Paradise Caves for Celestial Beings. The city also boasts five 4A-rated districts, the Yalong Bay National Resort, Tianya-Haijiao Park(the End of the Earth), West Island Resort, Dadonghai Tourist Resort and Wuzhizhou Island Resort. Sanya Phoenix Hill Park: Phoenix Hill Park is the highest park of Sanya-widely known as the Phoenix Ridge. It is the only place to enjoy a panoramicview of Sanya. The hilltop can be reached by cable car, from which the sea, the mountain, the cityscape and all other natural scenes can be fully captured. The primitive forest on the Phoenix Ridge is reserved at the national level, and is the origin of species of Sanya.A 2km-long forest path is specially paved for tourists, where the native oxygen ions capacity is up to 10,000,2.5 times higher than regular volume. Symbolic attractions in the park include Love Vow Statue, Hundreds of Birds Worshipping the Phoenix Statue,360° suspended sightseeing corridor, Qinglong Polletc.

Beauty Crown Cultural Convention and Exhibition Center: Beauty Crown was built as Sanya prepared to host the 53rd Miss World Final held on December 6th,2003. The building consists of two functions for performance and beauty shows respectively. Beauty Crown was the venue for 53rd,54th and 55th Miss World Final, China New Silk Road Model Contest, the 14th China Golden Rooster Film Festival.

Except those above, there lies an 18km-long coconut landscaping belt along the coast of Southern Sea, along which visitors can reach Tianya-Haijiao-the End of the Earth directly. It is famous both at home and abroad. Sanya is an inspiring land of longevity and is highlighted by its unparalleled bays with crystal-clear seawater, unspoiled sandy beaches, diversified coral clusters, shells and tropical fish.
