Burqin County is also the nearest county to Kanas, the fairyland on earth. Tourists who go to Kanas will stay in Burqin for at least one night, and go to Kanas on the next morning.

When night falls, it is a great pleasure to eat grilled fish at the night market along the Irtysh River. The red face chefs with high cap are busy scattering spices while watching the passing tourists. No one can resist the tempting smell of the variety of grilled fish sizzling on the fire and order some to tuck into their mouth.
You can stroll the night market when you are full. The market is full of little stalls, filled with a variety of commodities, attracting your attention. The gorgeous shawls, exquisite bronze mirrors, and brightly colored dolls indicate the warmth and beauty of the Russian style; quaint stone needle jewelries, exquisite and practical pendants, color stones of the Irtysh River are full of local characteristics of Xinjiang.
