The booming economy and culture during the Tang dynasty brought new opportunities to porcelain production.

The long-stalled porcelain industry in the north began to revive,and gradually caught up with the south.Subsequently,a national distri-bution of“celadon production in the south and white porcelain production in the north”took shape,and were re-spectively represented by Yue kiln and Xing kiln.
