Eternal Flame- Mongolia

Sheep graze on the endless prairie and sounds of musical morinhuur are far and floating. The border line between Xinjiang and Mongolia is 1,416km and there are four officially open land ports. In 2012, total volume of trade between Xinjiang and Mongolia was USD 344 million, including export volume from Xinjiang to Mongolia of USD 255 million. Mongolia’s GDP per capita in 2012 was USD3,508.
Surrounding neighbors of Xinjiang are Russia and Kazakhstan with abundant natural resources, Tajikistan and Kirghizstan with beautiful scenery, India and Afghanistan with a long history, and Pakistan and Mongolia whose friendship with China continues on from generation to generation.
Prosperous Ports
The prosperity of all ports is greatly related to trade. construction of ports will promote the livelihood of people and increasing port trades will drive local economy There are 17 open ports of the first category (state-approved), including two airports: Urumqi Airport and Kashgar Airport and 15 land ports. Among the land ports, there are four border ports between Xinjiang and Mongolia, namely Master temple Port (Kumul Prefecture), Ulastay Port (Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture) Yarant Port(Altay Prefecture) and Hongshanzui Port(Altay Prefecture). There are seven border ports between Xinjiang and Kazakhstan, namely Aheitubieke Port (Altay Prefecture), Jeminay Port(Altay Prefecture), Baktu Port(Tacheng Prefecture), Alataw Pass Port(Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture), Horgos Port (Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture), Dulata Port (Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture), and Muzart port (Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture). And there are two border ports between Xinijang and Kirghizstan, namely Torugart Port(Kizilsu Kirghiz Autonomous Prefecture)and Irkeshtam Port(Kizilsu Kirghiz Autonomous Prefecture); there is only one port on the border between Xinjiang and Tajikistan called Karasu Port(Kashgar Prefecture); there is also one border port between Xinjiang and Pakistan called Khunjerab Port(Kashgar Prefecture).
Apart from the above ports, there are also 12 ports of the second category (approved by local governments).
