Anbo Hot Springs
About 150 km north of Dalian inside the economic and development zone of Pulandian are the Anbo hot springs. Discovered during the Qing Dynasty, the Anbo hot springs have become one of the most popular areas for hot springs development. The area is now officially the Anbo Hot Springs Tourism and Vacation Zone that includes ski resorts, hot springs services and highly rated hotel resorts. The high-end Hongyuan Hot Spring Villa includes private villas, skiing, golf, an art museum and nearly every other resort offering available to utilize the Anbo hot springs. The 500,000 sq. meter Linhai Ski Resort is nearby, prompting the development of the Anbo International Hot Spring Skiing Festival.
The water quality of Anbo is excellent and at a natural 73 degrees Celsius is one of the hottest natural hot springs in Liaoning. Rich in sulphur, silicate, carbonate and many of the essential trace elements the hot springs are often the first choice for those looking to fight ailments like arthritis and chronic muscle aches.
