Fishnet Stitch or Knit Stitch gets its name for the fishnet effect of the works The works made with this technique are in this process, one color of silk lines is used to form a background, then applying the silk of another color from vertical angles or slanting angles so that the fishnet effect is created by the silk lines of the two colors.
Tin Stitch

Tin Stitch technique is a special technique for its application of tin in the embroidery work other than the silk. Tin is applied to several fixed patterns or Figures, and the skills utilized for tin embroidery is much more complicated than silk embroidery works and is seen in Jianhe county Miao communities only.
Actual process is like this. Step 1, thin tin plate is cut into slices of 2mm width with the top in spearheaded shape and then turned into hook shape. Steps 2, silk lines, usually in black or dark color, are made into many loops according to the pattern Step 3, tin hooks connect the loops and rolled and cut, then the tin hooks are pressed flat to form many of tin dots to form again the general pattern.
Tin embroidery cares about the symmetry of the pattern and the exquisity of the tin dots, and whether tin dot lines are in order
