“Guduo Qinmo Vcham”of the Yungdrung Ling Monastery of Bon Religion

“Tseju Vcham”of the Samye Monastery is based on the scripture Lama Sangdui unearthed by Terma Master Guru Chokyi Wangchuk of the Nyingma Sect from Lhozhag County, Shannan Prefecture in the 13th century.”Tseju”means ten days. It was said that Padma Sambhava was born on the 10th day of the fifth month of the Bingshen year of Tibetan calendar and “Tseju Vcham”was in commemoration of the Buddhist master’s birthday.

“Tseju Vcham”has 11 scenes, and the”Eight Images of Padma Sambhava”and “Three Saints”are the most important.”Vcham”of theSamye Monastery features robust movements compared to movements of the Mindroling Monastery of the Nyingma Sect of Shannan Prefecture that are slow, and the movements of the Dorjedrak Monastery and the Benlun Monastery in Tsethang that are moderate. That was because “Vcham”of the Samye Monastery had Dharmapala Zimaer who had unrestrained and robust movements.
