1 min readAirport The closet airport is the Xianyang International Airport about 25 miles (41 km) away from Xi’ an and 87 miles (140 km) away from Hua Shan. From the airport, you can take a taxi or tour bus to Hua Shan, about hours away.
Bus From the chaotic bus station at Xi’an, touts will be clawing you to get on their minibus. The ride will take about 3 to 4 hours and several buses leave for Hua Shan.It won’t be first class and be warned that the bus may not leave until full, contrary to promises. One-way bus fare from the Xi’ an Bus station to Hua Shan is RMB 35. Once you’re there, the entrance fee to Hua Shan is RMB 60 while the fee to enter the Hua Shan scenic area is RMB 20. To get back to Xi’ an, there’1l be minibuses parked at the foot of Hua Shan ead for small town about 20 minutes away. From here look for another bus (like a hotel for private two-way transport. It’s more comfortable and lot less time is wasted on the waiting game.
Cable Car -The cable car at Hua Shan costs RMB 80 one-way and RMB 150 for a two-way Taxi Taxis normally cost around RMB 5to 15. Most taxis at Hua Shan don’t have a meter so you’l1 need to bargain for a price beforehand.
