Jingdezhen International Ceramic Fair is held jointly by the Ministry of Commerce, China Light Industry Council, China International Trade Promotion Council and the People’s Government of Jiangxi Province. Since 2004, it has been held annually in October in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi. It is the only internationalized.

specialized, market-oriented and standardized ceramic fair at present in China, whichincludes ceramic products exhibition, ceramic cultural exchange and trade discussion of ceramics.

Jingderhen Intermational Ceramic Fair is regarded as the key supporting project for the rising of midland and revitalizing China’s ceramic industry. It is one of the 12 national key international expositions as well as one of the 6 business trade activities to the outside organized by Jiangxi Provincial Government. There are 1,200 stalls of the 3 exhibition hlls of this exposition, including the areas for intermational brands and domestic brands, daily-use porcelain products, artistic porcelain products, building and sanitation porcelain products, high-tech porcelain products, and famous porcelain products made by famous artists. There are several thousands of representatives at the exposition from the main domestic porcelain production regions and 10 famous historic kilns, and over 20 famous porcelain companies with first-class ceramic products from Japan, Korea, America, Germany, Britain, France, Netherlands, and the region of Taiwan, etc. And there are around 1,000 influential and powerful buyers from 38 countries, and thousands of porcelain sales agents and tourist buyers of the 25 provinces, cities and autonomous regions of our country.

The remarkable subjective activities of the exposition in 2006 were made continuously. Firstly, the trade seminars of business and investment introduction.

The signed foreign investment will be US $100 million, while the domestic investment will be RMB 3 billion at the signing ceremony with over 300 Chinese and foreign businesmen. Secondly, the international forum of high-tech porcelain products. There will be representatives from more than 50 universities, research institutes，including Tsinghua University，and from countries like America，Britain，France，Germany，Japan，etc.Thirdly，organized and coordinated by the Executive Director Council of China Tourism Association，there will be 120 general managers at the exposition，from domestic famous tourism companies，to discuss the use of porcelain in hotels.Fourthly，the national seminars on building and decorative desigu.Over 100 experts，scholars and entrepreneurs will attend the expo to discuss the porcelain business of the building and sanitation facilities.Fifthly，the spottechnical exchanges of the Chinese and foreign porcelain artists.In Xindu Ceramic Park，there will be more than 50 Chinese and foreign porcelain artists to carry out technical exchanges at the spot，and 35 of those porcelain artists from 7 countries will perform their skills together.Sixthly，Yuanqinghua Seminar of Jingdezhen.There will be 400 domestic and foreign cultural museum and collection experts attending the seminar held by Jiayang Company.

Jingdezhen is the world-famous“Porcelain Capital”which has more than 1700 years’ceramic-making history with fine ecological environment，profound culture and many scenic spots.Now there are more than 2100 factories producing fine ceramics for daily use，artistic porcelain for displaying，and building and sanitary porcelain.

In addition，the transportation is quite convenient.You can arrive here by plane or train directly from Beijing，Shanghai，Guangzhou，Shenzhen and other cities.
