1 min readLocated at the center of Hejing County, the man Han palace is a blue-graybuilding made of bricks and wood After the last feudal lord Manchukezhabu(Man Khan) of the ancient Torghut Mongolian tribe on the South road inherited the throne he lived here and dealt with various government affa here. It was once a political, economic, cultural and religious center of the Torghut mongolian tribe.
The man Han Palace is oriented north and facing the south and has 60 big and small rooms in total, including a middle audience hall, an east palace and a west palace. the middle audience hall is divided into two layers and the second layer is used for enshrining and worshiping memorial tablets of Khan ancestors the east palace as well as the west palace comprises bedrooms kitchens, recreation rooms saloons warehouses and so on the man han Palace was designed by Khan’s uncle called duobudun Celengdongmin, contracted by yangi hui craftsmen and built in 1927.
The whole mansion is magnificent and grand with unique ethnic building structure style. The man Han palace was once used as a government office equipped with high walls around as well as blockhouses and iron gates.
