Nancheng Industrial Zone in Fuzhou
2 min readNancheng Industrial Zone, located in northern suburb of the county, takes greatgeographical advantages, with the new 206 State Road, the Fuzhou-Nancheng Line, Beijing-Fuzhou Expressway, Nanchang-Xiamen Highway going through it. The overall planning area of 3,000 acres was completed in three phases.
The first phase was the development of an area of 400 acres, completed in 1996, with 27 enterprises located in this area, and two enterprises of them held sales income of over RMB 30 million, five of them gained more than RMB 10 million, and three of them got over RMB 5 million. RMB 133 million of fixed assets investment had been completed, among which there were RMB 7.2 million of infrastructure facilities investments. An initial shape and a certain size had taken in machinery, food, pharmaceutical, clothing, building materials, and packaging industries. Creating a group of well-known at home and abroad brands, such as the “Crescent” Huoxuezhitong plastic,”Magu yin zhu”rice noodles,”Jones”cold drink series,”Jiahuai”Huaishan nutrition powder, with an annual output value of RMB 270 million, it had made great contribution to the development of local economy with annual tax payment of more than 10 million and labor placement of over 2300 people.
In 1999, the State Department of Agriculture awarded it the honor of “the east-west cooperation demonstration zone of the national township enterprises”and it had made a certain economic profits and social benefits.
The second phase was the development of an area of 600 acres, in accordance with the guideline of high-standard planning, low-cost development, high-quality construction, low-threshold approaching. The project started in March 2002, in order to associate the old industrial Zone with the new State Road 206 and further improve the advantage of location. At present, the construction of infrastructure is fully completed. The road distribution adopts a layout of “three longitudinal and a horizontal,”and the pavement of cement road is over 1,500 meters. The water supply adopted a natural water diversion project without impetus. The city virescence area has reached more than 20%.23 projects have already been launched in the new district,and invested RMB 180 million for fixed assets,among which RMB 8.6 million is government financial start-up funds,12 million RMB is social finance,and RMB 160 million is the business investment.It is estimated that the annual output value will be RMB 500 million,and the paid taxes will be over RMB 23 million.
The site selection and investigation of the third phase has been completed.It isscheduled to be settled at both sides of Magang,with an overall planning area of 3,000acres.The recent planning area of 2,000 acres is about to be fully completed in 2008.Then,the total output of the entire industrial Zone will reach RMB 1.5 billion,and the paid taxes will be more than RMB 50 million.It will be an important economic growth force of our county.
