The Nanning International Folk Music Festival is held every November and features many performances of the local folk culture.Chinese and foreign performers display their skills and exhibitions are displayed.This festival is held mainly at the Nanning Minge Guangchang，but the whole city gets involved and smaller venues dot the city.
Be aware that also in November，Nanning holds the annual ASEAN summit，this means hotel rooms may be scarce.
Transportation
Airport-Nanning’s airport is about 19 miles（30 km）southeast of downtown and takes about 40 minutes to reach by taxi.Convenient airport shuttle buses are also available and most go to Nanning’s high-end hotels.
Boat-At the Linjiang Lu Port，Xingdao Cruise Lines offers various one-day cruises and night cruises.
Taxi-Taxis are RMB 7 at flag-fall.
