New Business Teams

After the traditional business teams there appeared a few new ones like Zhe Business, Yue Business, Lu Business, etc. Zhe business is a strongest regional business team after Jin and Hui business. They are hardworking, risk-taking, practical, exploring and pursuing to be the front. It has been active for quite a long time. For example, Bao Yugang, who was the Ship King and Dong Haoyun, who was the father of Dong Jianhua, were both from Ningbo.

Jin business and Hui business were both closely related tothe feudal govenmrent. In nature they were”state business”.

Zhe business, on contrary, is”civil business”. Zhe economy is”civil-centered economy”. That is the characteristic of market economy: civilians as the main role of the economy.

Jin business developed into great business capital and great finace capital, but failed to transter capital into production capital. And Hui business didn’t invest in production, either. But Zhe business is typical of production economy. Zhebusiness is movable. They never give in and never stop pursuing.

Zhe business is practical. They began to manage the small products such as shoes, clothes, glasses or fire-generator. They organized themselves on a small scale, but made their products competitive against the others.

Zhe business is more hardworking than the people along the sea and more flexible than the people in the inner land.
