1 min readThe Qianlong Emperor（1711-1799）was the sixth emperor of the Manchu-led Qing Dynasty and reigned officially from 11 October.
1735 to 8 February 1796.Under the reign of the Qianlong Emperor，the Chinese empire grew to a size unprecedented in Chinese history and China dominated East Asia militarily，politically and culturally.
The image of a multiethnic Chinese empire began to emerge，comprising not only Han Chinese，but also Mongols，Tibetans and Manchus among others，each with their indigenous religious traditions.
