If you’re taking a bus into Hong Kong then you’ll go through customs at Huanggang Port). Those who land at the henzhen Airport can take a ferry that goes to Hong Kong Island or Kowloon. The ferry takes about an hour and tickets are RMB 180. It’s a quick 10-minute bus ride to the port from the airport.
