2 min readSouth Tai Lake Tourist Resort consists of “South Tai Lake Central Park”,”Vacation Center of European Feature”and others, covering an area of more than 3,000 mu in total. It integrates tourism, recreation and leisurevacation, and becomes the first-class national resort in Yangtze River Delta Aera. The central park and the vacation center are located at the core area of Huzhou Tai Lake Resorts, which take the idea of “ecology and harmony”in the plan and construction.
The central park consists of Sheraton Hot Spring Vacation Hotel known as Bright Pearl of Tai Lake, Hot Spring SPA, Fisherman Shipside(a street of restaurants), Yacht Area and Shipside Shopping Center. Blended in the techniques of “dot, line and flat”to deconstruct the area, the layout fully relies on the water landscape, and makes the park just like many a bead strung together. As the landmark building, Sheraton Hot Spring Vacation Hotel represents the”dot”, which seems like a huge water circle on the TaiLake. It looks like a full moon rising from water, too. So it is also called “Tai Lake Pearl”or”Moon Hotel”. The road-system is the “line”of the project. Besides the main road, there are a few bee-lines, which not only form one circle after another in aesthetics, but also make the tourists and guests slow down their steps to enjoy the ecological surroundings. The “flat”includes vacation villas,a hot spring hotel,a recreation SPA,a shopping center and a series of topping dwellings and supporting facilities.
The whole design of the park focuses on the “water”as the theme, and maximizes the Tai Lake water viewing resource that gives people a perfect feeling of returning to nature.
