Subtropical Beaches

The intoxicating subtropical beaches of Guangxi’s Beibu Gulf have become a hot tourist destination recently. The State-level resort of Beihai Silver Beach is a dozen kilometers long and 0.5 km wide at its widest point and has a seawater transparency depth of over two meters. There are few beaches in the world so extensive or with such crystalline waters. The beach is cool in summer and warm in winter with a permanent water temperature of 15-30C, an ideal natural bathing place. Weizhou Island is a volcanic island known asFairy Island for its picturesque scenery.

Sanniang Bay in Qinzhou is a major habitat of the Chinese White Dolphin which has become feature attraction of Qinzhou and even Guangxi Province. The scale of the Jintan Binhai Tourism Resort Zone in Dongxing has become quite considerable. The impressive Three Islands of the Gin Ethnic Group hold great development potential and value.
