Small Qingdao Island covering an area of 0.012 square kilometers，720 meters from the coast and 17 meters above sea level is a nice little peninsular located to the southeast of Zhanqiao Bridge.Seen from the sky，the island looks like an ancient lute，therefore it is also called”Lute Island”.There is a little park，a few small cafes and a white lighthouse on the island.It is a pleasant place to have a strol1，viewing the Huilangge Pavilion，the rusting submarine and destroyer of the Naval Museum.Black pines and flowers like oriental cherries，green peaches，pomegranates，and roses of Sharon dot the island.The nearby Yellow Island is a great place worthy for a visit if the weather permits.You can wander along the coast to breathe the tender ocean breeze and enjoy fabulous scenery，or you can have a seat on the beach to enjoy the vast ocean.Statues and pavilions can also be seen at different locations.
