Tian’anmen

Tian’anmen is situated on the north-south axle in central Beiling.With Chang’an Boulevard an Boulevard running across its front，Tian’anmen Gate is not only connected with，but also stays aloof from other architecture on the square.As the main gate of the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing Dynasties，and symbol of Being and China today，Tian’anmen has experi-enced the vicissitudes of history.On visiting Beiling，every tourist，from either home or abroad，cannot help being greatly impressed by the magnificence of Tian’anmen gate and the imposing atmosphere of the entire square.

As Being’s famous scenic spot，Tian’anmen gate，Tian’anmen Square and all other architectures there are viewed as messengers of Chinese cul-ture by a growing number of Chinese and foreign tourists.
