The Haihe Education Park has a planning area of 3 square kilonetres and is located on the south bank of the middle reaches of the Haihe River between downtown Tianjin and the Binhai New Area.It is north of Tianjin Avenue，south of Jingang Road，west of the planned connecting line to Jishan and east of the West Outer Ring Rd in Jinnan District.The Park is planned to have a population of 200，000 for schooling，100，000 residents and 300，000 for social training.
Schools and Institutions：
Located in the Jinnan District，the Tianjin Haihe Education Park is divided into three departments:The Vocational Department，the Higher Education Departnent（including Tian jin University and Nankai University）and the Scientific Research Department.
The Park will be constructed in three phases.
The following colleges have been established in Phase 1：the Light Industry Vocational and Technical College，the Modern Vocational and Technical College，the Technical School of Mechanics and Electronics，theSino-German Vocational and Technical College，the Electronic Information Vocational and Technical College，the Technical School of Instruments and Radio and the Marine Vocational College.The Technical School of Instruments and Radio and the Technical School of Mechanics and Electronics are secondary vocational schools and the remaining five are higher vocational colleges.
Public services：
The cultural center of the Park has been established and is already being used and includes a public library which serves as a branch library of the Library of Tianjin.It has a total of one million books in its collection.There is also a Management Center in the Park.
The International Exchange Center of Vocational Education（Haihe River Wenhua Hotel）has a construction area of 63，000 square kilometers and a Management Center of 21，000 square kilometers.
