Tomb-Sweeping Day (or Qingming Festival)

Its origin dates back to the Spring-Aut Period. After the festival, the temperature will rise and rainfall increases. It is not only a seasonal point to guide farm work but also a festival of commemoration. It is the most important day of sacrifice. People offer sacrifices to their ancestors and sweep the tombs of the deceased to show their respect.It is also a time when the sun shines brightly, the trees and soil become green and nature is again renewed. People follow the custom of enjoying spring outings.
