Tuyuq Asawulekaife Mazar

With a prominent position in Islamic holy places, the Tuyuq Asawulekaife Mazar is one of the two oldest and most famous mazars in Xinjiang. It is said that the Tuyuq Asawulekaife Mazar is located in the southwest valley mouth of the Tuyuq Thousand-Buddha Grottoes with a history of over 1,000 years.

As one of the seven great Islamic holy places in the world and the first great Islamic holy place in China, the Tuyuq Asawulekaife Mazar is known as”Oriental Mecca”. In local Muslims’ opinions, people must go to the Tuyuq Mazar to worship in advance of worshiping in Mecca in the Middle East.

Nowadays, the number of tourists coming here for tourism, visiting and investigation everyday is more than 200, up to 500-800 people on weekends.
