Women’s Jewelries
1 min readWearing earrings, rings, bracelets, necklaces and other ornaments is the common hobby of Xinjiang women, particularly the Uygur women.
On the day of festivals, when they visit relatives and friends, they always put on all the gorgeous, colorful and dazzling jewelries and wear bright dress, dressing up carefully. At this point, they look elegant and beautiful with infinite charms.
Kazak women always use silver dollars, silver products or all kinds of pearl buttons as the adornment of the clothes. Kirgiz women prefer to tie some silver chains, silver coins, keys and something else to the tips of their hair, then tie tips together with a bead chain. Full-dressed Tajik women often decorate the cap brim with a row of silver chains and wear large earrings and beadnecklace of several turns around the neck. They have a row of circular big silver ornament in front of the chest, and a handmade precious metal bracelet or ring on the hand.
The brides are usually decorated with corn silk on the braid while the married women are decorated with white buttons, silver coins,etc. Mongolian married women always comb two braids, which usually are covered by braid sleeves. Both ends of the sleeves are decorated with yellow edge and colored thread embroidery, with the long black belt linked below and gold and silver jewelries decorated above.
