Wrinkling Stitch

 Wrinkling Stitches share the same procedure in first half with the Braid stitches, e g.making braids.

Then the braids are wrinkled and used to cover the pattern before they are stitched at each wrinkle to the pattern on the cloth.

This is the technique that makes the embroidery with relief effects and good looking with artistic expressions and enduring too However it is time consuming and material intensive.

The embroidery work made with this technique is noted for color coordination and xpressive pattern, and good stitches. It is only made by the Miaos in Leishan County.
