Xiuyan Hot Springs

Located at the base of Qianshan Mountain, in Xiuyan County, the 68 degree Celsius water is equally high in trace elements as Tanggangzi hot springs. The obvious attraction here is the beautiful location which prompted Anshan Iron and Steel Company to build a large complex early in the development of the industry. Now there are more spa sites and a large ski resort to add to the experience. Xiuyan County has become one of the major development areas for hot springs in Anshan with many more resorts planned so that tourists can experience the excellent waters and sites.

Haicheng Hot Springs

This newer hot springs area is in Haicheng, located near the Liaohe River, at the northern part of the Liaodong Peninsula. In 1999, exploration began in Haicheng into the availability and quality of the hot springs resources with successful results. The water quality has met with the national standards to qualify for medicinal therapies. Several resorts including the Dongsifangtai area have been built up and are now on the way to becoming another high quality tourist destination.
