While the history is drifting away from us, a new look is appearing in Xinjiang, attracting people of all directions.
The economic and social development in Xinjiang is progressing with each passing day,showing vigorous vitality: mountains and grasslands are much greener and cities are much more beautiful; but the honest, passionate, and friendly characters of Xinjiang people remains as always.

A Uygur proverb says, “Gold can be panned from sands, and happiness can be found from sweat”. Since a long time ago, Xinjiang people have continued to create miracles by working hard.

Under the leadership and concern of the communist party of China and the central government, and also under the help and support of people of all nationalities in the country, all the people in Xinjiang had completely changed the extremely poor Xinjiang by working hard, they have built their nice home and have lived a happy life, achieving a historical leap in social development.
Three years have passed since the Central Xinjiang Work Forum in 2010, and the forum has brought significant changes in the overall social and economic development in Xinjiang.
Under the situation of the slowing down international economic recovery, and the increasing of the downward pressure on domestic economic, the endogenou power of the economy in Xinjiang is still increasing and has totally changed the passive situation in the past of descending faster and recovering slower than the average level around the country; the economy in Xinjiang keeps accelerating, and many economic indicators have hit records such as economic aggregate, fixed-asset investment, and public budget revenues and expenditures, the increasing speed comes to the forefront in China. The lives of people of all nationalities are moving towards the fairly well-off.
