It is a sanctuary for people to get together in, hang out, listen to music, dress up and express themselves. uring intervals in the village’s music seasons, the former Beishan Theater, now named Goodone, serves as a showroom and “Warehouse of Old Things”, featuring “retro bricks” (originals left over from reconstruction) in a variety of colors, on display and for sale. Walking through the rusty iron gate of the theater, one’s eyes first land on the stunning example of Victorian-style brickwork, with attention next being drawn to a wonderfully diverse range of vintage items that fashion junkies will find it hard to keep their hands off, from classic clothing, adorable clutch bags and locally designed jewelry to brick-shaped chocolates, postcards and writing cases.

Very cool stuff fills every corner of this intriguing space. However, the”warehouse”is more than just a chance to buy unique gifts; it is a sanctuary for people to get together in, hang out, listen to music, dress up and express themselves. It acts as a kind of headquarters for the city’s fashionable and creative minds. This power to brin people together makes the “warehouse” the beloved venue in the city’s pop culture scene that it is.

Many of the products here are the brainchild of the “warehouse staff”, nicknamed “brick workwomen”, their most recent creation being collection of garments made from fabrics woven on old-fashioned looms that were once used by a local textile mill in the 1960s.
